It's
the year 3113. Tina Owen is an Advancer. Advancers are
fearless explorers who venture to uncharted regions of
space in search of habitable planets. But Tina has a
problem. She has to serve a 2000-year jail sentence for
destroying a planet on one such mission. The government
has a proposition for Tina: if she goes to Omega-13 and
finds out why so many Advancer parties have never
returned, they just might be able to do something about
her sentence. But the survival rate of Omega-13 is
nearly zero. What if Tina herself never returns?
